About Sunset RV Park
Our Park is on the edge of the small western town of Cut Bank, Montana. Sunset RV Park sets between rolling fields of wheat and the majestic Rocky Mountains and Glacier National Park. The area offers the natural splendor of the Cut Bank river, Cut Bank Trails, nine-hole golf course, rainbow trout fishing, rafting, and hunting (certain times of the year). If these activities are not enough a quick 30-minute drive to Lake Frances offers walleye fishing, boating, water skiing, kayaking or a drive to rock city. You can also simply relax and enjoy the wide-open blue skies that the Big Sky country has to offer. No matter what your interests Sunset RV Park can provide an outdoor experience to keep you busy.
John and Shelly Lighthizer are both natives to Cut Bank and have had the privilege of raising their family here. They have pledged to continually work to provide and guide you to ensure your visit will be a pleasurable one. Sunset RV Park offers 30 RV sites, 28 of those pull through. We have a small camp store, laundry and shower facilities on our property. Our park offers several opportunities to enjoy nature at its finest. Along the western bluff of our property there are several large geological rock formations that have been eroded away through time by the Cut Bank River. There are several areas to experience the sunset and sunrise on our property as well. We have a few trails that lead you down to the rivers edge. Along the way you will have the chance to enjoy several wildflowers native to Montana and an impressive view of the Warren Deck train trestle built in 1900. We are just under an hour drive into the eastern gateway into Glacier National Park. Make plans now to reserve your campsite and enjoy what western Montana has to offer. See you soon!
